Letter to the family

My name is Shannon, I’m 19 years old from Cape Town, South Africa. I am a very creative and sporty person who considers herself to be extremely honest, trustworthy and caring. I have studied French for 5 years and would love the chance to become fluent! I adore kids and traveling... even though I haven’t traveled to many places, I believe this is the perfect place to start.
I have 2 siblings. 1 older sister and 1 younger brother, I have lots and lots of cousins who I used look after all the time, and 1 year of babysitting experience in Cape Town for kids aged 12 and 8. In January I moved to Paris to begin my au pairing experience and was an au pair for 3 kids aged 11,8, and 5 for 5 months. I am now looking for my next amazing family. I am so excited to begin this next journey and to create some amazing memories!

Experience

I hope my time as an au pair will bring me lots of happy times with my host family and the kids, lots of laughs, new food, new experiences and happy memories. I would love to be able to travel and explore everything that France and Europe has to offer. I chose France to improve my French language skills and I find that Paris is absolutely beautiful. I love kids and have lots of experience working with kids.
