Diana (26 / Ms. ), Venezuelan, Student - Art / Commerce / Management living in Venezuela looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in USA & Ireland for 10-12 Months

Dear future host family,

I am Diana , I am 23 years old and I am T.S.U in Modern Languages, I presented my thesis in December 2019, but I could not have a graduation ceremony due to the current pandemic. I was born in Maracay, I lived there since I was born until I was 16, Maracay is a city that has a warm climate and is close to the capital of the country. I come from an honest, hard-working and respectful family with two wonderful parents and 4 older sisters.

I am a very respectful and funny girl when people meet me, also quite orderly and attentive, I am very sincere because for me it is fundamental and super important to tell the truth I do not like lies. Sometimes I am reserved with some issues, I am very serious when the situation warrants it, I think that there is a time for everything to be fun or to be serious. I really like to be organized and clean in my things and I think that if I am chosen as an au-Pair, disorder will not be a problem with me.

I really like to go out with my friends to the movies, to the park or just to have fun and laugh a lot. My favorite activities are going to the movies, watching television, dancing a lot, almost all kinds of music, especially Latin genres, I like to sleep, I'm not good at sports so I don't practice any sport. I really like junk food and also household food, although I'm not a good cook, that's why I don't cook much at home.

I moved to Caracas 7 years ago to continue my studies, my sisters welcomed me here and it was when I learned to be more responsible with my clothes, food and household chores. I have learned a lot in recent years, since I have helped my sisters with my nephews, I have seen them since babies and I have helped them in almost everything during this time, I quite enjoy spending time with them and watching them grow, I have 5 nephews so I have I practiced a lot taking care of them and taking care of them from small to large, helping them with homework and helping my sisters when one of them gets sick or has an event like a basketball game or something like that.

I would like to be part of a loving and respectful host family, I am very interested in learning about new customs and traditions enjoy the experience of living with a group of different people, learning from children and their daily life also their parents and those in the house live. Adapt to a new city with new people and different architecture and lifestyle.

My first motivation to be an Au-Pair is my love for interculturality, I like the idea of sharing my customs and traditions with people who have others different from mine, learning from them and the exchange that is generated. It is also a good way to grow personally and academically because I would practice my language skills by speaking with the children and parents in English, I could even teach them a little of French if they want to, on the other hand it is a fun way to go sightseeing as It's a new place that I will know I also have the opportunity to share with children and create a nice bond between both parts.
