Swanett (24 / Ms. ), Venezuelan, Psychologist living in Venezuela looking for Au Pair job in Germany, Belgium, France, Italy & Switzerland for 7-24 Months

Dear future host family:
Hello! My name is Swanett I’m 24 years old, and I currently live in the Caracas, Venezuela. I just finished my Degree in Psychology, and I´m expecting the graduation.
Originally, I was born in a small city in Venezuela called Barquisimeto, there is where I grew up with my parents, with who I am very close with. Since I was a little girl, I were always involved in extra-curricular activities, such as music, because my dad is a musician, ballet, because my mom always wanted me to dance, painting, swimming, and cooking lessons, which I loved because it kept me active and gave me a lot of tools that I now can use as an adult.
When I got graduated from high school, I went on exchange to Belgium Flanders for a year (2015-2016) where I had the most amazing experience. I went to school for the whole year, in Menen, where I met such wonderful people who, today I still am in touch with, both Belgians and people from all around the world. Also, when I was there, I had the opportunity to work as a baby sitter, and I enjoyed a lot! We would make crafts and play a lot.
I´ve had experience working with children in the past, since I was a teenager. When I took ballet classes, I was an assistant of my teacher, in the classes of little girls. I worked as a volunteer in the International Medical Corps, as a facilitator of Workshops of recreative safe spaces for vulnerable children and teenagers here in Caracas. Also, in my degree of psychology at my university we take about 6 internships, where 3 of them involve working with children.
Nowadays, I work as a psychologist at the Venezuelan Institute for Integral Development of Children (INVEDIN), specifically in psychological evaluation with children from 5 to 16 years old, and I´m also involved with the national AFS office (the organization I went on exchange with) where we prepare the students who will go on exchange, and I´m in charge of the coordination of scholar relations.
I would describe myself as a really enthusiastic person, friendly and easygoing, for me always giving my best is very important. I also consider myself as an honest and responsible person, I give always my best in what I do. I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, spending time with the people that I love, cooking and baking.
I would love to have this experience, I believe that it would be a great opportunity to strengthen my Dutch, and working with children really fulfills me, especially because I want to major as a clinical psychologist for children and adolescents, and what a better way to start following my dream than working with kids!
