My name is Mariana, and I am excited to introduce myself as a potential Au Pair for your family. I am 19, from Portugal, and I have always enjoyed working with children.

Experience

Although I haven’t worked formally as an Au Pair or Nanny, I have significant experience caring for children within my family. Being the eldest sibling, I naturally took on the role of caregiver for my younger sister, helping with her daily routines, schoolwork, and recreational activities. Additionally, every summer, I cared for my twin cousins, managing their schedules, planning engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. These experiences taught me how to be patient, adaptable, and creative in handling children.

I am currently teaching Mathematics, English, and Portuguese to a 14 year-old portuguese student, so I am capable of teaching and developing new skills for your children as well!

Becoming an Au Pair abroad appeals to me because it combines two passions: caring for children and exploring new cultures. I am eager to immerse myself in a new environment, learning from host family traditions while sharing my own.
