Letter to the family

Dear families,
My name’s Elvira and I am a spanish language student who loves to travel and learn. I’ve been meaning to expand my knowledge and use the summer months as an opportunity to create new experiences.
The last couple of years I have been working at summer jobs as a children summer school monitor, as a cook and as a waitress (restaurant and cafeteria alike). I would love to care for children of any age, as I have two little twin siblings who are 8 years younger than me. Running around and talking with them is the highlight of my days.

Experience

As the oldest grandchild, I have always been the non-official caretaker for my siblings and cousins. Having fun is almost mandatory with them. Even if they’re starting to become pre teens, I cherish our time together all the same.

In addition, I have a certificate as a monitor for free time and outside activities and have worked at a children’s summer school. There I cared for children with different personalities and nationalities, and learned how much fun you can still have as a grown up.
