About Me

Hi! My name is Amelie , but everyone calls me Milly. I’m 17 years old and currently in my final months of senior school, preparing to sit my HSC. I’ve had the chance to live in various places across Australia, and I also spent about 10 months living in Lavant, a small town in England, when I was in Year 3.

I’m a big fan of cooking and love spending time in the kitchen trying out new recipes. I’m also more than happy to help with errands and household chores to the best of my ability.

Why I Want to Be an Au Pair

I’m interested in becoming an au pair because I want to experience new environments, cultures, and lifestyles. I love working with children and am excited by the opportunity to become part of a family while also growing personally and professionally.

My Experience and Training

At the moment, I’m studying for my Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing, which I expect to complete in about three months. This training will give me valuable experience in providing care in a hospital setting, being responsible, and working closely with others—skills I believe will be instrumental in an au pair role.

Describe your experience as an Au Pair. Why would you like to become an Au Pair abroad?

Although I don’t have previous experience working as an au pair, I’m very eager to take on the role and am confident in my ability to learn quickly and adapt. I have a strong interest in caring for others, which is why I’m currently studying for my Certificate III in Assistant in Nursing.

I would love to become an au pair abroad because I’m excited by the idea of experiencing life in a different country, learning about new cultures, and becoming part of a family meaningfully. I see this as a great opportunity for personal growth, building lifelong connections, and gaining new perspectives—all while contributing to a household in a helpful and caring role.
