Hi, my name is Celeste, I'm 18 years old and I live in Catania, Sicily. Since I was little I have always loved travelling, discovering the world in all its facets and sharing life experiences. Last year I spent six months in Argentina with a local family and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I learned to appreciate the culture and everyday life of the family that hosted me, approaching diversity by putting aside prejudices and stereotypes. At home I became just like a member of the family: I took care of cooking when necessary, I took care of the dog and I helped with the housework. Through a relationship of respect and sincerity we have established a beautiful relationship, which I hope will last over time. I love spending time with children of all ages and inventing educational and fun games. I believe very much in the power of education through creativity, music, art, nature and sharing. Since I was 16 I have had various experiences as a babysitter, organizer of events for children at "Coru Eventi" and as an after-school teacher at a refugee centre.
