Dear Family,

My name is Xavi, short for Xavier. I’m 18 years old and currently studying Archaeology in Barcelona. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a strong interest in education and child development. This led me to become an English teacher and nanny, working with four wonderful children (ages 3, 4, 6, and 10) from 2023 to the present. Through this experience, I’ve developed patience, resilience, and a deep understanding of children's needs to help them adapt to their environment and individual differences.

After much thought, I’ve decided to become an Au Pair. I believe it’s a wonderful way to immerse myself in a new culture while doing something I truly love: teaching and caring for children. Being part of a family allows for a special bond not only with the kids but also with the parents. Together, we can grow, learn, and share experiences in a nurturing environment built on trust and communication.

You should consider me as your Au Pair because of my extensive experience in both childcare and language teaching. I use engaging and educational techniques to help children learn. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable experience abroad through volunteering in Berlin last summer, which has further shaped me as a person. Aside from my professional skills, I am responsible, patient, creative, and always give 100%. I am eager to continue learning and using my experience to support your family.

Beyond education, I have many other passions! Singing is one of my biggest joys, and I’ve participated in several shows and singing classes. I also love dancing (though I’m not the best at it!), reading, painting, and exploring the arts in general. I’m also into sports like handball and tennis, which have taught me the importance of teamwork, and I enjoy jogging as well. These hobbies have shaped me into a more conscious, responsible, and creative individual—qualities that I believe are essential in caring for and guiding children towards a healthy, happy environment.

Although this will be my first time as an Au Pair, I’m excited and ready for the journey ahead. I’m confident that my experience with children, passion for education, and enthusiasm for cultural exchange make me a great fit for your family.
