This would be my first Au Pair positon (which I am extremely excited about) but I am very familiar with working with kids. My first job from ages 14 to 18 was babysitting for multiple families. Some families this was on a weekly schedule with the occasional overnight stay. I worked with one family for four years and grew very close with their kids. I would prepare meals, arrange activities at home and ensure normal routines were followed.

More recently, I worked as a Rehabilitation Coach. This job involved me working with kids with concussions or disabilities and assisting them to implement programs to enhance their recovery or progress. While this was quite a specialised role, key focuses were on health and safety and building a wonderful connection with each of these kids. In this role, I also had a client who I would work with for several hours multiple days a week including pickup and drop off, so I am used to this aspect of the Au Pair positon.
