Hi there!

My name is Kahu, and I am a 22 year old female from New Zealand.

I have spent the last year and a half working at a Big Four accounting firm in New Zealand, and am taking a year off from my career to travel and to experience living abroad. My parents are originally from Dublin, which is where I grew up till the age of five and where my extended family still live, and which is a big part of the reason I am looking to move back to Ireland with an au pair position. I studied abroad in my final year of university in Copenhagen, and being able to visit my cousins more frequently than I can at the moment in New Zealand was such a highlight and I would love to have this opportunity again.

In my spare time I like to train for half marathons, cook meals for my family, read, and spend time with my friends outdoors hiking and swimming.

Spending time with children has been something I've loved doing for as long as I can remember, and time spent with younger cousins, family friends and through nannying/babysitting has been so fun for me. I am very organised, easy-going, tidy and can manage multiple responsibilities.
