Letter to the family

My name is Paulina, this year I'm turning 20 years old and currently I'm studying psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. Education is very important to me - I'm especially fond of languages. I've been learning English and German for many years now. In high school I also started learning Spanish. This is one of the reasons why I want to become an Au Pair - to brush up my language skills. Of course, this is not the only cause. First of all, I would love to get to know another culture, visit new places and make new friends and family. I'm a talkative, nice person who is very open to the world, new experiences and challenges. I would say that I'm a constant optimist with positive attitude towards life.

Experience

When I was at a German language course in Germany, I was living at a guest family with many children. I spent plenty of time with the youngest member of the family, talking with her about movies, books and many other things. We went to many excursions and practised sports together. This was the time when I gained a lot of experience with kids. This was also the time when I felt very fulfilled, happy and full of energy. It was a beatufiul period of my life that I would love to repeat. Additionaly, I have a brother that I took care of as well when he was younger. Apart from being an Au Pair I could also take care of your home and teach you some language.
