Federica (23 / Ms. ), Italian, Student living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in United Kingdom for 5-6 Months

Hi, my name is Federica and I am 23 years old. I have a strong background in education and communication, and I am currently living in Oxford to improve my English skills.

I graduated in 2020 from the Human Sciences High School in Civitanova Marche, Italy, with a focus on Economic and Social Studies. After a year interrupted by the pandemic, I pursued a degree in Marketing and Communication for Luxury Goods at IULM University in Milan, graduating in July 2024. Understanding the importance of the English language, I decided to move to Oxford in September to enrol in a four-month course at the Oxford School of English, to further improve my language proficiency.

In my free time, I love attending Pilates classes and practising outdoor sports. I also enjoy reading and constantly improving my knowledge through study. Spending time with my friends is very important to me, and we often explore new experiences, like dining at restaurants offering different cuisines. I also love cooking and sharing meals with others.

Throughout my life, I have had many experiences with children. During high school, I had the opportunity to take part in a school-work placement programme, which included spending a month in a primary school and another month in a kindergarten. These experiences taught me to be patient, organised, and adaptable. I have learned to engage with children and help them with their daily routines, making sure they feel supported and understood.

Additionally, I have a cousin who was born when I was 15, and I spent most of my adolescence growing up with her. She’s like a sister to me, and I’ve been involved in her care and development, which has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of children’s needs and behaviours.
