I’m used to my students calling me Miss Brooklynn or Miss B, but I’m flexible with nicknames. ☺️
I currently work in a Functional Life Skills Special Education kindergarten through third grade class. I am more than open to working with children with special needs. They give me so much joy it’s unbelievable.
I want to become an Au Pair to combine my two passions of working with children and exploring this beautiful world!!
I feel like my whole life has been leading up to and shaping me to be the perfect Au Pair.
I grew up helping my mom run a daycare out of our house. So even when I was a kid, I was helping raise other kiddos.
I also used to be a ski instructor for kids aged 5-10 at Mammoth Mountain, CA. I would love to teach your kids how to ski, take them on hikes, bike rides, fishing, and really anything outside as much as we can!! I’m an anti-screen teachers aid. I’ll use an iPad as a “I’m working for this” bribery tool, but only as a last resort if a kid is really stubbornly set on it. I’d much rather bribe them with bubbles or another fun activity or treat.
I am very passionate about the safety and well-being of the kids I’m watching. Safety comes first above everything. That being said, I am a silly goofy girl and I think that’s one of the main reasons why kids tend to love me (;
I encourage all the giggles and sillies and fun and exploring all the new things and learning and growth and independence!!
