Letter to the family

Hello, I am Alexi, I have been babysitting since I can remember and have always loved working with children and teaching them and watching them learn and grow to be who they want to be. Working with kids I am able to restore and grow their confidence in themselves, whether it be by helping them master their favourite sport teaching them to read or even just embracing their creativity. I personally believe that I would be a great candidate to host, I am reliable and am able to provide an environment where kids are eager and willing to listen and participate in whatever activities or work needs to be done. I am a clean orderly person who loves organizing. I am equally as spontaneous as I am scheduled and I love a good adventure, especially one where new things are learned.

Experience

I have no direct experience being an au pair, however I have been babysitting since I can remember, every summer since I was 14 I have led both day and overnight camps last as long as 21 days. I have volunteered as a camp councillor every summer and love to watch children grow and learn. As for the abroad part I’ve always wanted to travel and be able to truly immerse myself in the traditions and ideals of new cultures wether it be similar of entirely different to what I’m used to, and I feel that being an au pair would be the best way to do that.
