María (17 / Ms. ), Chinese, Student living in Spain looking for Au Pair job in Germany, China, USA, France & Italy for 1-8 Months

My name is Maria and I'm currently living in Spain. I write this letter so that my future family knows more about me.

Mainly, I would like to be an Au Pair to be able to travel economically to other countries and thus learn both their language and their culture. In my opinion, it is one of the best ways to get to know other places. Also, I like to take care of children. One of my dreams has always been to have a baby take care of him, so being an Au Pair would be a way to fulfill that dream.

One of the reasons why a family should host me would be because I am quite responsible and educated. Apart from taking care of the children, I can help with some housework such as sweeping, washing up, cleaning the dishes, etc. This way I could help the family when they do not have enough time to do these tasks and so they could get rid of some obligations. I can communicate fluently in Spanish and English, and can speak some chinese and basic french. In addition, I am very interested in learning new languages, so if I stay in a country whose language I do not speak, I would learn that language in order to communicate better with my host family. Another reason is that I like spending time with children. It is true that I have not had experience taking care of children but I am a fast learner and I am willing to learn how to take care of them. I am also quite patient and affectionate with children.

I qualify for the Au Pair position to improve my experience caring for children and to learn new languages ​​and cultures. I have always wanted to learn many languages ​​in order to communicate with anyone without difficulty. Also, as I mentioned before, I would like to take care of my own children, so being an Au Pair would help me prepare for that.
