Hi my name is Marisol ! I’m an 18 year old girl and I was homeschooled during my highschool years so I was able to graduate last year 2021 ! During my homeschool years I was able to have time for myself and learn a lot about myself and what my learning style is and problem solving skills! Also gave me time to have time for my passions I love art and music and flim but I also love learning in general I still have a lot to learn so I take any chance to learn and take in criticism . I got my first job here at 15 years old and made me learn about money handling skills and also opened my bank account so I got to do taxes early in my teen years . While I was homeschooled I also had some jobs to pay for my interest/hobbies I took a boxing class , cycling class also enrolled to a gym and enrolled into acting class in the art of university of San fransico! When I was 15 and I would take the metro there only once because Covid hit the rest was online unfortunately. I worked at an ice cream shop starbucks and also I’m in training for behavioral tech/ therapist and working with kids with autism which is super fun because I get to learn more new things and be able to work with kids while helping them and having fun at the same time ! I’m also a coach in girls on the run I was in the program when I was young but I’m back to help out other young girls grow confidence life skills and self love because that’s what the program taught me and I loved it while also staying active :) Some of my hobbies or pass times are playing violin I was in an orchestra class ever since I was in 5th grade and now im on and off but I really love music is very calming to me and I bought my own violin after saving my money when I was 17 and also played the recorder when I was young . I also love watching movies films and I also love editing and animation ! I also have two little brothers and an older sister I play with them when I have time roblox ! And I would babysit my cousins whenever my aunt would have work which would be a whole day or sometimes just some hours ! I also try to stay patient and calm when overwhelming things/events occur because that way I can think of a plan to fix the problem and helps us think clearely . Also having back up plans is always , I would also love to have this experience because it can help me out in my journey of learning culture and exchange teach someone else something because there’s always something out there that we can learn and can be life changing in our lifetime
