“Hello, dear host family! My name is Thaysa, I'm 28 years old and I live in Contagem, a city that belongs to the state of Minas Gerais. I live with my mother, my stepfather and 3 dogs and I don't have any siblings.
My family is very important to me! We are very close and I really enjoy spending time with them! They are supporting me a lot to become an au pair and it encourages me to follow my dreams.
I graduated at the age of 24 in the accounting course and now I work in the financial area of ​​a company in the transport sector in my city.
In my free time I like to watch movies, go out with friends, I love to read, ride my bike... and I love to stay at home with my family, chat with them or watch TV together. I am a communicative person and I like to meet people and talk. I consider myself an outgoing and active person!
In my family there are a lot of children, I am the oldest niece and granddaughter of the family, I live with them daily, since they live next to my house and I love being with them, and helping with their needs, we all support each other. Spending time with them taught me how to care and give love, I learned how to feed, bathe, change diapers, bottle feed, put them to sleep and especially how to deal with them. We have the habit of playing as if we were living our childhood period again, teaching the healthiest games of a happy and cheerful childhood, I feel very good when I'm next to them, they are innocent, spontaneous, honest and full of life! They have a lot of energy and it's contagious! But I'm also responsible and I know the boundaries between fun time and duty time.
I would say that I am a friendly, optimistic, patient, flexible, open-minded and easy-going person. I think I have a lot to learn because we always learn from the people who cross our lives, but I think I have a lot to offer too! I am also affectionate and I want to take care of your children with love, responsibility and dedication.
I've always wanted to be an au pair or have the experience of living abroad for a while, and now I feel like it's the right time to do it! I decided to become one because I love children and I want to have the experience of studying English in another country, I am currently still studying the language, but it will be great to practice and learn in another country. Also, I love to travel and I enjoy getting to know new cultures, people and places.
