Letter to the family

Hello!

My name is Eden, I was born and raised in New Jersey and have travelled to many places around the world.
Having grown up with 3 siblings, I am very used to being around lots of action.
I love art and history and nature.
In my free time, my favorite thing to do is to watercolor my surroundings! I am also an aspiring potter, and love taking ceramics classes.
I love to cook and am very passionate about healthy eating to fuel your body right.

In college, I studied costume and scenic design for theatre and eventually started my own clothing atelier when living in Tel Aviv from 2020-2023. Since moving back to the states, I have spent a lot of time with family.

Experience

My eldest sister has two young kids, who I have been near for most of the last 5 years. Being an aunt means being a built-in babysitter. Since my sister and her husband travel a lot for work, I find myself caring for them quite often.
I want to become an Au Pair or Nanny because I would love to experience living in another part of the world and helping out a family while doing so would be the perfect way to get there! Also, I would definitely miss my niece and nephew, and would love to extend that love for caregiving to a family that needs the extra hand.

Having lived in Tel Aviv and traveling a lot throughout Europe, I have experienced many different parenting styles. I'm very flexible in my approach to care for your kids in a way that you see fit.

I personally believe in a healthy balance of making your child feel safe and cared for, while giving them the confidence to grow and learn to be independent.
