Dear Host Family,
My name is Marolin, I am originally from Colombia and I came through the Au Pair program to The United States of America three years ago. Currently, I work as a live-in nanny for an American family, I take care of three children under the age of six and assist with light housework. Additionally, I am taking general education classes at a city college, aiming to continuing learning and gaining new skills for my future.
I have always had a passion for working with children, which is why I decided to become an Au Pair. This role have allowed me to combine my love for childcare with my desire to experience different cultures and build meaningful connections with the families. I find great joy in nurturing and supporting children's growth and development, and I believe that being an Au Pair offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on a family's life while also enriching my own.

Experience

I've been an Au Pair in the United States for three years already.
After my first year I decided to extend and at the end of my second year the Host Family offered me to stay longer with them to continue being part of their family because of the great match we are and because the connection I've made with the kids.
I qualify for this position not only because of my hands-on experience but also because of my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Balancing my studies, work, and personal life has taught me valuable time management and organizational skills. Additionally, I my native language is Spanish and I'm fluent in English, which allows me to communicate effectively and provide a culturally enriching experience for your family.
