Hello,

I’m Greta. I’m a seventeen-year-old girl, turning 18 in May. I live with my family in a very small village in the countryside, in the north of Italy. I’m a sociable and lively person, but also very responsible and caring.

I enjoy spending time with children, since most of the time they have something to teach us. I have plenty of experience working with kids and I always cherish the chance to learn new things while I teach them new skills. I worked as an animator in a summer camp for three summers in a row looking after children of an age range from 4 to 14 years. During the summer camp I also had the possibility to guide the kids through the realisation of a play, which was such an inspiring experience. Not only did I collect these experiences but I’m also the eldest daughter and my sister is 5 years younger, so I had to look after her almost my entire life. This taught me a lot about childcare.

I love travelling and getting in touch with other cultures and I would love to know more about German culture thanks to this experience. I’m also willing to share my culture with the kids and the family. I might even teach them a little Italian if they are interested. I speak Italian as my native language, but I’m also fluent in English, French and German.

Even if I’m not a great cook I can cook some simple dishes of Italian cuisine and I’m willing to teach you how to prepare them as well.

In my free time I love reading and visiting new places. I really like going to school and I could help with the children’s homework within the limits of my language knowledge.
