Letter to the family

My name is Rae and I'm 19 years old. I live in a small town in Canada, called Corunna. I'm going to school in September to become a cardiac sonographer! I would like to become an au pair/nanny because I like to be around kids. I have a brother of my own who's 10 years younger than me, two step-siblings about 13 and 14 years younger than me, and lots of younger cousins too. I've always enjoyed and treasured my times with them. Being an au pair/nanny in a foreign country has always been an interest of mine, my cousin did it a few years ago and loved it. I love to travel and want to experience as much as possible, and this would be a great opportunity to do so. I think I'd be such a great au pair/nanny because I genuinely really like kids and have such a soft spot for them, plus I have so much experience with kids between my siblings and cousins.

I don't have any experience as an au pair/nanny per se, but I have lots of experience with kids. I have a few siblings much younger than I am, and lots of younger cousins too. I love taking care of them whether I'm babysitting or just hanging out, and they've given me such a soft spot for kids. I'd like to work abroad because I just love to travel and experience new things! I think being abroad and immersed in a new culture would be so fun and interesting, and it's definitely something I want to experience.
