Natish (19 / Ms. ), British, Student living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair job in China for 1-5 Months

My name is Natish and I am an 18 year old student from England, on my exciting journey as an Au Pair during my academic gap year. My enthusiasm, adaptability, and humour makes me the ideal candidate for creating lasting connections and shared experiences. Having years of experience in child care, I balance responsibility with a friendly approach. I am excited about the prospect of becoming part of your family.

I have completed two au pair experiences with amazing families in Spain and Italy and want to continue my journey!
• In Spain I was taking care of a 12 year old girl, where my responsibilities was helping her get ready for school, making lunch during the day and taking her to her tutor/football training.
• In Italy I was taking care of a 18 month old girl, where my responsibilities was tending to her whilst the parents were at work. Creating playful, enriching days for her and taking her places. I would also look after her older 3 year old sister when needed and to support the parents.
I can adapt to different environments very well and I hope my experience shows that!

From young, I have been babysitting for family members, and this would extend to overnight stays. I would make sure they were fed by meals cooked by myself, help them with homework, and create activities to do with them until bedtime.

I also have children come over to bake with me. We will make cupcakes, and Ill show the kids the fun of baking and decorating (theyre favourite part). Eating the cakes whilst watching TV is the relaxing part.

For the past 3 years, I have been volunteering at a primary school, where I look after Year 3-4s by myself in afterschool care, to be an older role model to them. I however, also care for the Year 5-6s. We follow a routine of homework then free time. I help the children with their homework’s and created a close bond with them, that theyre not scared to ask anything. Theyre favourite part is free time, where we will have long conversations and play various games like outdoor chess, physical activity games or do arts and crafts. I feel like a friend to the kids and when they join secondary school, they have a familiar face in me to feel safe in.
