Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Jessica, I’m a teacher with a calm, caring, and responsible personality. I’ve always loved working with children and have a natural ability to connect with them. I have experience both in the classroom and in taking care of younger family members, which has helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.

Becoming an au pair is a dream for me because it combines two things I’m truly passionate about: child development and cultural exchange. I see this experience as a beautiful opportunity to learn more about the world, improve my English, and grow personally and professionally. At the same time, I would love to share my own culture and contribute to the daily life of a host family with all the care and responsibility that I already bring as a teacher.

I believe your family can count on me as someone trustworthy, respectful, and dedicated. I’m committed to creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for your children. With my background in education, I can offer more than just supervision—I can actively support your children’s growth, routine, and learning moments.

I’m very excited about this new journey and confident that I can be a positive and reliable part of your family’s life!

Experience

Although I haven’t officially worked as an au pair or elderly caregiver abroad, I have valuable experience caring for children and elderly family members in my home country. As a teacher, I’ve always been responsible for the well-being, development, and safety of children in my care. I also supported my family in taking care of my grandparents, helping with daily tasks, offering companionship, and ensuring they felt safe, respected, and loved.

These experiences taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of creating a calm and trustworthy environment—skills that I know are essential for both childcare and eldercare.

I would love to become an au pair and caregiver for the elderly abroad because I’m passionate about helping others, and I see this opportunity as a meaningful way to grow personally and professionally. I want to be part of a cultural exchange where I can not only share my knowledge and kindness, but also learn from the people I care for, their stories, and their way of life. Being able to support someone’s daily needs while building a real connection is something that deeply motivates me.
