Letter to the family

Dear Au Pair family,

My name is Shyla and I am 25 years old and I live near San Francisco, California. I am interested in becoming an Au Pair somewhere in Europe(preferably Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal) to experience life in a different country and to learn about different cultures. I believe that I would be a great fit for families with children ages 1-6 as I have a lot of experience in this area having a college degree and being a preschool teacher for the past two years. I currently am a nanny for a wonderful family here in California where I take care of a 1 year old boy and a 4 year old girl as my full-time job. I have been a nanny for about 5 years now and absolutely love it. I would be happy to be your Au Pair, and to assist your child/children in their daily lives. I would be interested in starting as early as June 2023 or even earlier.

Experience

I have been working in childcare for about 8 years now. I was a preschool teacher for the past 3 years, in which I worked and took care of kids ages from 1-5 years old everyday. Aside from being really great with kids, and having a strong passion when working with them, I also have a college degree in this field. I currently work as a nanny full time and take care of 2 kids ages 1&4 years old, and have been a nanny for about 5 years now and absolutely love the experience. I would love to be an au pair so that I can I experience living in another country, learn about different cultures, meet new amazing families, and learn another language all while assisting a wonderful family and making their lives a lot easier what's my assistance. I believe that I would be a great fit cause I've been working with kids for the past 8 years and could help get your kids prepared for preschool/elementary school. I have also been a swim instructor as well, so I can help teach your child how to swim (in the summer) if they don't know how to. I'm also CPR certified.
