Hello, my name is Lisa. I have been a caregiver most of my life-- raising my children, fostering and adopting others, and providing care for my mother and father until their passing. I have been a practicing physical therapist assistant for over 20 years, gaining extensive experience in treating a variety of conditions, including spinal cord injuries, dementia / Alzheimer's, and neurological disorders. In recent years my career has been dedicated to geriatric care working within a skilled nursing facility where I specialize in the rehabilitation and wellbeing of elderly patients. Currently I hold a 20 hour per week remote role focusing on audits and billing reimbursement for a skilled nursing facility. However, my true passion lies in providing 1 on 1 care, where I can directly use my skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals. I am eager to return to more hands-on, rewarding form of caregiving, which allows me to build deeper connections and offer tailored, compassionate support. My goal is to assist the elderly with aging in place and facilitating their highest level of quality of life.
