I have had the privilege of being an Au Pair three times in England, and each experience has taught me invaluable lessons about childcare, responsibility, and cultural exchange.

In my first placement, I cared for baby twins, Aurora and Ari. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, as I was there to witness some of their earliest milestones, including their first steps and first words. I developed a deep bond with the twins, and I took pride in providing a nurturing and supportive environment where they felt safe to explore and grow. Being part of their early development was truly special, and it strengthened my passion for working with young children.
Next, I worked with two boys, aged 1 and 3. One of the children had autism, which required me to be especially attentive and adaptable to his needs. I gained experience in supporting children with special needs, learning how to provide the right balance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. This experience enhanced my understanding of individual care and gave me a greater appreciation for creating personalized approaches to childcare that cater to each child's unique requirements.
In my most recent placement, I cared for two boys aged 2 and 4. My responsibilities included taking one of the boys to school, picking him up, preparing meals, and keeping the younger child engaged at home. I developed strong organizational skills and time management, ensuring that both children’s needs were met while maintaining a smooth routine for the family. I also gained experience in educational play and early childhood learning, ensuring the children were stimulated and entertained while still following a consistent daily structure.
