Letter to the family

~I found my family for the 2024/25 season.~
Hi! I'm Veronika, an 18 years old girl from Czech Republic, who loves outdoors, adventure and sunsets. Right now I'm in the last year of high school and I'm still not sure what I want to study after my graduation and because of my love for traveling and children I decided to try to become an Au Pair. I think it's a perfect opportunity to try to live in a foreign country, get better in English, meet new people, make new experiences and maybe find out what I want to do next in my life.
Why you should choose me? I would say I'm friendly, reliable and I'm not scared to try new things. Secondly, I love children. In last two yers I was tutoring primary school children. I have 16 months old cousin and I'm use to taking care of her. I also have younger brother and I was taking care of him my whole childhood. So I have experiences with both younger and older children. I have also attended a first aid seminary. I can cook and bake. These are actually my favourite hobbies. I think I can do so many things and if something not I can learn it quickly!

Experience

I’m in the last year of high school and still don’t what I want to study at university so I think a gap year is now the best idea for me. And because I love to travel and explore the world I decided to become an Au Pair. What i really love about this idea that when you’re an Au Pair you can live in a foreign country, be independent but at the same time have there some background and people (you :)) who will help you if something happens. I also love children very much. I have 16 months old cousin and time spent with her is my favourite. I’m also tutoring children as a side job and it’s so much fun. To sum it up it’s also nice to find out how different households work and learn something new about different countries and cultures!
