Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Joely, I am 20 years old (21 in May), and I have lived in England for my whole life!

I have always loved going abroad; me and my family go on holiday to Spain every year and we drive through France to get there. I have also always loved looking after my little brother and sister, and playing games with them. This is the main reason I would want to be an Au Pair because I just love spending time with and playing with children, and teaching them things that can be used later on in life. I would also love to learn more French as I studied this in school but I have never really had the chance to further educate myself.

I am polite, well mannered and always willing to work hard. I have had a job consistently for 4 years (since I turned 16), and I always do my best to ensure that everyone is always happy. I would do my best to please you, and make sure that every day is a good day! I can cook, and clean and will always make sure that I look presentable.

About me

I am well mannered, polite, confident and I always work extremely hard. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, I enjoy reading and writing but I also like to have fun and do things that I wouldn’t normally do. I started doing horse riding, and I used to play hockey as well as run in an athletics team. After being an Au Pair, I would like to be able to bring something back home that I didn’t know before, about looking after myself and others and use that at home.
