Dear Host Family,

Hello and welcome to my profile, I am a 19 year old woman from Ireland who wishes to become an Au Pair in a German-speaking country. My goal is to experience working abroad, and more importantly, to greatly improve my German (or alternatively, Polish) language skills. I am available to become your Au Pair towards the end of 2025, or in the Summer of 2026.

Education and work experience :
I have completed my secondary school education and passed my exams with the highest marks. I am currently studying engineering in University in Dublin. As well as this, I am employed on a near-full time basis in a takeaway for one year.
I tutor junior and senior high school students in Mathematics, Sciences and Languages also, and I have completed babysitting jobs for relatives and friends in the past.

Skills:
I am an extremely hardworking individual with lots of experience in housework, gardening and cleaning tasks. I am used to a very fast paced work environment where there is lots to be done. I am willing to do a considerable amount of housework for you, this is no problem for me.

I am a skilled cook and I can prepare a variety of dishes ranging from stew and soup, to pasta, rice and baked goods.

I am fluent in English and I will help your children to learn this language.

I am good with animals and can take care of them. I have one dog at home and have taken care of cats before. In the past, I have also helped with farm-related tasks and chores.

I get along very well with children, and I can balance fun and activities with the necessary routines that they follow. Family and friends have always praised my ability to engage with and look after their children

Personality:
I am a friendly fun-loving individual with a traditional outlook on life. I love nature and activity outdoors. I am interested in sports, I play tennis and go running very often. I also go for daily walks in the countryside with my dog. My interests also include drawing, reading and arts and crafts. When in the company of children, I always encourage them to be active and to use their imaginations! Because of this, I am eager to be a part of an active family lifestyle and engage with your children!

Driving license:
I am currently taking driving lessons. By the time I am available to become your Au Pair, I expect to have my full driving license.

Language skills:
I am a native English and native Irish Gaelic speaker. I can also read and understand German well (B1), though my spoken German is still around A2 level. I understand some basic Polish also (around A1 level).
