Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Rose, I'm from Geraldton, a coastal town in Western Australia and I'm recently graduated as a boarder from a high school in Perth this year. I turn 18 in June and am eager to start a new adventure as an au pair. I am passionate about travelling, having already visited some amazing places across Australia. I enjoy being around children and have experience babysitting for family and friends. I love swimming, painting, surfing, baking, and playing the guitar in my spare time. I’m excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair and bringing joy and support to your family.

**I have the right to work and a UK Visa through the Youth Mobility Scheme, this begins in August.

Experience

Although I have not previously worked as an Au Pair, I have a strong background in caring for children and helping around the home. I’m a godmother to an 18-month-old girl and spend a lot of time with my younger cousins, which has given me hands-on experience in looking after young children and supporting their daily routines. I also have experience in hospitality and housekeeping, which has taught me how to stay organized and manage responsibilities in a home environment.

I’m excited to become an Au Pair abroad because I love working with children and want to immerse myself in a new culture while building strong connections with a host family. I recently received my UK Youth Mobility visa, which begins in August, and I’m planning to move to the UK to live and work. Being an Au Pair is the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for childcare with my desire to grow personally, explore a new country, and gain meaningful life experience.
