Nice to meet you! I am Abby, a 20-year-old American student from Atlanta, GA, USA. I study Literature, Communications, and Media at a prestigious institution and come from a big family, being the third of four children. I'm comfortable with children of every age, having had a younger sibling as well as a new baby niece (as of September 2020) whom I regularly keep for my sister. Not only am I happy to help your children learn the English language, if needed, but I am very artistic and active! I will always find something fun, educational, and creative to do! I grew up with au pairs who took great care of me and I look forward to doing the same for your family.

I have taken Human Development and Psychology in college and am highly interested in the Montessori method. I am very independent and LOVE to travel. I cherish my friends and family closely. I plan to study abroad this upcoming summer 2021 in Metz, France and have previously studied abroad in Costa Rica. It would be a dream to join your family, in 2022, take care of your children as if they are my own, and explore a new city!

Experience

I hope for my time as an au pair to inspire my next steps, as I graduate from college, and follow my passion for travel! Since children are so delightful to me, this seemed like a great option to pursue. I think it's important to learn from other cultures and I cannot wait to have a family of my own one day! I plan to attend law school for Real Estate law or Entertainment law in the future, but I really want to explore the world and its beautiful people first! I grew up with au pairs who took great care of me and I look forward to doing the same for your family.

I expect the duties for my au pair experience to vary, however, I am more than happy to spend quality time with your children, teach English, cook, clean and organize. I would love to help you feel more relaxed and capable in your life! I have my drivers license in the United States, and otherwise am happy to learn local transportation in your city.
