Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm a 29 year female from South Africa. I love Children and have spent most of my adult life in their company. from 2016 to 2018 I was an Au pair in the USA, It was one of the most incredible experiences I've had. I'm currently studying through a Distance Learning Program at a university for a degree in Health Sciences. Although my career path is moving in the direction of Medicine, my heart has always been and will always be with Child care. I am also currently Au Pair to a wonderful 2 year old boy. He is on the spectrum of Autistic spectrum disorder and a wonderful light to be around. Each day we paint, take walks in the many parks and learn about birds. Through Autistic care I have experience in Occupational Therapy, speech therapy and most recently ABA. I've been in child care since 2015 both formally and informally and I have extensive experience in tutoring, reading, Spanish and much more. I believe that I am more than just a Nanny to the children's' lives I'm in. I am a friend , a big sister and someone who is reliable and patient. my past host families can vouch for the fact that I am incredibly passionate and trustworthy and I love what I do.
