I am currently a 19 year old student studying International Relations and French at the University of Exeter the south west of England. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing my french, reading books, playing sports and spending time with my friends and families. I originally became interested in becoming an au pair when I was very young, due to the fact that I grew up with au pairs and childminders and as such, I understand the impact it has in shaping a child. Additionally, over the summer, I would love the opportunity to improve my French. I truly believe I would be a great au pair due to my nature, experience, and due to the large amounts of research I've done regarding childcare and childhood development. I believe in creating households based on love, trust and respect for one another. I believe that children need to be nurtured in order to be happy and reach their fullest potential; this is not purely dietary, but instead is holistic. Children need music, literature, sports and lots of fun in order to be their happiest, and this is what I am to create within the household. I believe my nature makes me particularly suitable for this - I am naturally incredibly energetic, and also naturally very empathetic, but also straight-up, which leads me to believe I tow the line of fun, responsible and kind. I am also incredibly resilient.
