Letter to the family

Hi, my name is Damien and I am currently 20 years old. I am living in Australia at the moment, doing a working holiday and working as a bartender. However, I am originally from England and have worked a lot in social and childcare. I would like to come to Austria to improve my German so that next year I would be able to do an apprenticeship as an educator. I have enjoyed my time helping out in kindergartens and also doing an au pair year in Germany.

Experience

I have experience with children of different ages and genders. As I mentioned, I was an au pair in Germany for one year, looking after 3 children: a 10-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 1-year-old boy. While I was working, I had to help with basic household chores, pick up and drop off the kids at school, play with them after kindergarten and school, prepare food, and help with homework.
