Letter to the family

Dear host family,

My name is Finja Gine, I am 18 years old and come from Germany. I have almost finished my high school diploma and am looking forward to gaining new experiences abroad. I am an open-minded, responsible, and warm-hearted person who enjoys working with children.

I would like to become an au pair (nanny) because I love working with children and find it fulfilling to accompany and support them in their development. At the same time, I see this opportunity as a wonderful chance to get to know a new culture better, improve my language skills, and experience a bit of everyday life with a family in another country.

I am convinced that I would be a good fit for your family because I am patient, reliable, understanding, and loving with children. I have a strong sense of responsibility and am willing to actively help with family life – whether it be with childcare, playing games, doing homework, or small household chores.

Experience

Even though I have not yet worked as an au pair, I have already gained experience in childcare. I regularly looked after my younger siblings and neighbors' children, helping them with their homework, playing, or smaller everyday tasks. In doing so, I learned to take responsibility, be patient, and lovingly care for children.

I would like to go abroad as an au pair because I enjoy working with children and, at the same time, want to take advantage of the opportunity to experience a new culture and improve my language skills. I'm looking forward to being part of a host family, helping out with everyday family life, and gaining new experiences that will help me grow personally.
