Sofia (19 / Ms. ), Canadian & New Zealander, Student - Social Science living in Canada looking for Au Pair & Live-in Tutor job in Italy & Spain for 1-4 Months

My name is Sofia and I am currently studying political science and international studies.I’m someone who deeply cares about others and always looks for ways to help and teach when I can. I love being active, whether it’s through physical activities or engaging in new learning experiences. Reading is a passion of mine, as it helps me grow both personally and professionally. I find joy in getting to know people, understanding their stories, and building meaningful connections. I previously played piano and love to write, creative fun and nature are my joys. When I’m not in school I work at a restaurant as a hostess and serving help. I realized I found working with children enriching from the years I coached kids jiu jitsu from ages 4-12, each age group had their unique challenges and absolute joys. I want to be an Au pair because I think the experience of being abroad while working is an important one for me, specifically as an au pair in the home because being a help to a family and guide for children will ultimately be an experience full of growth and enrichment that I am hard pressed to find in any other working position. If I got the oppurtunity to live in tutor English I would excel at this because I am patient, have studied linguistics, and get no further pleasure aside from helping others. As my latest degree to completion is a high school diploma I should note I finished with honours with distinction or honours every year, with English as my strong suit. I would do my tasks to the best of my ability, employ responsibility and care when it comes to my help, and always be respectful. Although I do not have prior experience in this specific field, I am familiar with hospitality and working with children.
