Letter to the family

Hello dear host family,
My name is Vanessa and I am 19 years old.
My parents come from an Arab village in Turkey, but I was born in Germany and grew up here.
So I speak fluent German and also understand some Arabic.
I speak English relatively well and I had 7 years of French at school, so I can already communicate somewhat in the language.

I graduated from high school this summer and would now like to gain new experiences abroad before I start studying.
I chose the au pair program because I really enjoy spending time with children.
I have a lot of cousins in the family who I like to look after often. They are all between the ages of 3 and 11.
I also look after the children of friends.
I enjoy taking them to the zoo or the playground.
I often do handicrafts or bake with them too. During school time, I also help them with their homework.
I also did a 2-week student internship in an elementary school and gained a lot of experience with the young children. I have learned to stay calm even in stressful and turbulent situations.
At home I regularly help with household chores, so these tasks are no problem for me either.

I would be really happy if I could also look after your children.
I am open to new experiences, a new environment new people and a new culture and I'm looking forward to it.
