While I have not officially worked as an Au Pair yet, I bring extensive and highly relevant experience in childcare and support work that closely mirrors the responsibilities of the role. For several years, I worked as a camp counsellor and lifeguard, where I was responsible for supervising, engaging with, and ensuring the safety of children of all ages. I also taught swimming lessons and worked at a specialized camp for individuals with disabilities—an experience that taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability. Currently, I work as a support worker for adults with disabilities, further strengthening my communication and caregiving skills. I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because living with a host family in a new country is a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture while doing what I love: caring for and supporting others. I’m excited by the chance to be a positive role model for children, contribute to a family’s daily life, and learn from the experience both personally and professionally.
