Hande (26 / Ms. ), Turkish, Au Pair living in Turkey looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in USA for 13-24 Months

Dear Host Family;
First of all, thank you for your interest in my profile and reading my letter. My name is Hande. I’m twenty-six years old. I live in Eskişehir. Eskişehir is a modern city located in the Central Anatolian region of Turkey. I graduated from department of International Relations at Aydın Adnan Menderes University.

I am currently living with my family. My family is a small, loving family of four. I have one younger brother, he is twenty-one years old, studying at university, so he usually does not live with us, he tries to come to us from time to time. My
parents are retired from different fields, my mother was a chief at a bank, she retired after working for about 18 years, my father was a factory shift supervisor and he also retired after working for about 20 years. We usually like to spend time at home as a family, we like to go for picnics and travelling around Turkey, discovering places that are already discovered.

I have a colorful life. I like going to new places getting to know different people and taking photos. I love traveling, spending time with my friends and going onvacations. In the past, I was also interested in many sports. For example, volleyball, badminton, swimming, cycling. These days, I spend more of my time improving my English. In fact, because I love spending time with my brother, we love to watch TV series with English subtitles, although it is a little difficult for me.

People around me describe me as helpful, responsible, respectful, kindhearted, fun, organized and easy going person. I love children, spending time with them, teaching them new things, and I learn many new things from them. Providing care for kids is something that I loveand enjoy. Having a positive effect on kids on their way to adulthood and being a part of their story is spectacular and memorable.
We need to show and explain the rules lovingly and when appropriate without dictating anything. I think I have been quite successful in this regard.

As for my experiences with child care:
I have a lot of childcare experience. First of all, I looked after my neighbor's children intermittently between 2015-2017. One was a girl and one was a boy and they were 1 and 3 years old. We played games, I prepared their meals, I was taking her to the kindergarden and bringing her home. While I was studying at university, I had two students studying in the first year of primary school and the second year of primary school. I was teaching them reading, writing and math. They were both very sweet and intelligent kids. Lastly, I took care of 2 children of a family living in the same building where we live, for a period of 4 months. I helped them with their homework, fed them
and played games.

The thing I'm worried the most about this program is my English level and speaking skills. Unfortunately, my English is not very good, but I am also very eager to improve and open to learn. I hope this won't be too much trouble for you.
