Greta (17 / Ms. ), German, living in Germany looking for Au Pair job in France for 4-9 Months

Hi:) My name is Greta and I would like to work as an aupair in a family in France.
This summer I finished high school and want to pursue my interests in the coming time. Through two student exchange programs at my school with schools in France that I did in 2018 and 2020, I already had the opportunity to live in France and go to school there. I liked the language and the culture very much. I had French lessons until the tenth grade, but since then I have taken every opportunity to improve my language skills. It has been my experience that languages are best learned locally, best integrated into a community.

In order to get closer to my goal of having a very good knowledge of French, I would like to work as an aupair in France for some time.

I have to deal with children of different ages on a regular basis, on the one hand through tutoring in maths and French. I have done this in the past 4 years for students up to grade 9. I babysit regularly for smaller children aged 3 to 12 years. On the other hand, I have been involved in our parish, there also in the preparation and implementation of children’s programs at church days. I like to spend time with children and regularly had the tasks of keeping the children busy, making them dinner and putting them to bed while babysitting. I would love to be there for your children as an aupair.

This summer I am travelling with a friend in Europe for about 4 weeks with Interrail, but I would like to be available from October onwards. For your consideration, I think it is important to mention that I will be 18 years old on 8 November, and if age of majority were to be a prerequisite for employment, I would of course bridge the time until then. I already have a class 3 driver’s license.
