During my time as an au pair in the United States, I had the privilege of spending two years with two wonderful families in Ohio and Chicago, Illinois. In my first year, I was placed with an American family in Ohio, where I cared for four children between the ages of 7 and 13. My duties involved preparing meals, taking the children to their activities, and ensuring their well-being in a nurturing environment.

In my second year, I had the opportunity to join an Indian-American family in Chicago. Here, I cared for three children aged 10 to 14. In addition to preparing meals and helping with schoolwork, I enjoyed the chance to immerse myself in Indian culture, learning about their traditions, cuisine, and family values. This cultural exchange expanded my understanding and enriched my experience as an au pair.

These two years as an au pair provided me with invaluable learning opportunities, personal growth, and meaningful connections. I am deeply grateful for the friendships formed and cultural experiences gained during my time with these families. This journey shaped me in profound ways and will be cherished as a defining chapter in my life.

After this incredible experience, it ignited my interest in exploring even more diverse cultures. I am now looking forward to embarking on a new adventure in Europe, where I can further immerse myself in different traditions, languages, and lifestyles. This journey promises to be another enriching chapter in my life, where I can continue to grow personally and expand my understanding of the world around me.
