Dear Host Family,

My name is Manuela Grez, I am 24 years old and Chilean. I recently completed my studies in Economics and Business in Chile, and during this spring semester I had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program in Belgium. Now, I would love to live with a host family, as I am very interested in learning about different cultures and sharing experiences in a family environment, something I have missed most about my home country.

I want to be an Au Pair because I enjoy spending time with children and believe it is an enriching experience for both them and me. It is also a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics in other countries, save money to travel around Europe, and continue expanding my cultural horizons.

I think your family could benefit from having me as an Au Pair because I am a cheerful, responsible, and proactive person. As the oldest of four siblings and the oldest of 30 cousins, I have always been a great support to my parents in caring for the little ones. Since I was 15, I've worked as a babysitter and volunteered as a teacher at my school, helping children with their homework. I also have experience caring for children for long periods (1-2 weeks) when their parents are on vacation, ensuring I take them to school, support them in their studies, provide fun activities, and create a safe and loving environment for them.

Speaking several languages ​​is another way I can contribute to your home. My native language is Spanish, I have an advanced level of English, and I'm currently learning French, so I could help the children improve their Spanish or English if they wish.
