Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Ila, and I am a 19-year-old student currently studying law in France. I was born in Luxembourg and now live near the border with France. Growing up in a multicultural environment has given me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the desire to explore more of them. I am a very active person who loves athletics and swimming, and I am also dedicated to my studies, having started in medicine before switching to law.

I want to become an Au Pair to open myself up to new cultures, meet people from different backgrounds, and immerse myself in an English-speaking environment. This will not only help me improve my English but also prepare me for my future. I aim to pursue a Master’s degree in law in Luxembourg, where the program is entirely in English. Being an Au Pair will give me the opportunity to develop valuable life skills and broaden my cultural horizons.

I believe you should host me because I am a responsible, caring, and organized person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. Additionally, as a native French speaker, I can help teach your children French, should that be something you would like. I take my role seriously and always aim to be a positive influence in the lives of the children I care for. I have several years of experience in babysitting. In my local community, I regularly took care of children, picking them up from school, helping with homework, preparing meals, and engaging them in activities. I also helped with bedtime routines, ensuring they felt comfortable and secure before going to sleep. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and understanding children’s unique needs. I always strive to create a fun and supportive environment where children can thrive.
