During a two-week internship at a primary school, I worked with children aged 6 to 12 years. It was such an amazing experience! I helped them during lessons in different subjects and spent time with them during breaks. We played games together, and one day I even joined a dance activity, which was fun.
I enjoy being around children and would describe myself as a trustworthy, kind, and caring person who always listens and tries to understand others. I believe that being a good listener and having empathy are so important, especially when working with children.
One of my main goals during this experience is to improve my English skills, especially by speaking with native speakers in everyday situations.
I also see this as an opportunity to grow as a person — becoming more responsible and learning how to handle new situations on my own. After finishing school, I want to take a break to figure out who I really am and what I want for my future. I love working with children, and this experience will help me see if that is truly the right path for me. It is also a great way to step out of my comfort zone, gain confidence, and become more independent.
I will have completed my A-levels this summer, and I see this as the perfect break gain new experiences, and grow as a person.
