Letter to the family

I am Nadya, I am 19 years old. I want to become an AU Pair and nanny because I have cared for kids, including my younger sister, and many kids in and outside my neighborhood. I also want to experience new things and new places while taking care of children and working. The candidate should host me because I can be trusted with children while giving them the care that they need. I am good at listening and understanding body language, which helps me give the child everything that they need to be safe and comfortable with a new person in their life that may not speak their language. I qualify for this position because I am between the ages of 18 and 30. I am patient with children of all ages while also being cheerful and optimistic, hoping to inspire kids to do what makes them happy and always look on the brighter side of things.

Experience

I have never been an Au Pair, but I did much babysitting and pet sitting while in high school and during my short time at college. My experience babysitting was fabulous; the parents would constantly tell me that their kids loved me and were always excited for the next time I would babysit. Yes, there were some challenges along the way, like taking care of a special needs child, so if the child, or any child, were upset, I would have both me and the child take a step back and take a deep breath before communicating with them. I know kids are still learning to express their feelings, and being special needs makes it more challenging, so it is the best thing to do with any child.

I want to be an Au Pair because I want to work abroad. Working abroad means doing something that I love. I love working with children and positively impacting their lives.
