Dear future host family,

My name is Katharina, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself as a potential Au Pair for your family. I am 19 years old and come from the West of Austria. I recently graduated from an Austrian Tourism School and I am currently on a GAP year before I am going to University in October. Last summer I volunteered in Africa and worked in a nursery school on Zanzibar as well as in a primary school in Cape Town. This winter I am working as a ski instructor in Liechtenstein. As you can see, I am passionate about working with children and contributing to their growth in a loving and nurturing environment.

Becoming an Au Pair is not just a chance for me to care for children but also an opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, build meaningful relationships, and broaden my horizons. I love the idea of becoming a temporary part of your family, sharing my own cultural background while learning about yours. Spending time with children has always brought me immense joy, and I am eager to contribute to their development through fun, education, and care.

I am a responsible, caring, and reliable individual who is committed to ensure the well-being of the children I care for. I believe in fostering a safe and supportive environment where children feel valued and understood. As someone who is enthusiastic about cultural exchange, I bring energy and a genuine interest in connecting with your family.

I have significant experience with childcare, including my volunteer work in Africa, working with kids as a ski instructor and having a younger brother. I am confident in my ability to handle responsibilities such as preparing meals, assisting with homework, organizing activities, and helping with daily routines. Additionally, I pride myself on my adaptability, communication skills, and willingness to learn, all of which make me well-suited for this position.
