Letter to the family

Hello!! My name is Marwah, I am a 23 year old female from New York with a passion for learning new cultures and languages, cooking, and exploring what’s around me. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Italian Culture and Gastronomy at the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in the center of Firenze.

I’m happy to help with homework or any schoolwork, English language skills, and housework. I would also love to engage in creative activities (indoor and outdoor!) whether it is arts and crafts or educational/developmental activities. Beyond childcare, I will respect your home and any rules you have in place, as I value a structured and well-maintained home environment. It would be a great pleasure to be welcomed into your home and become even a small part of your family.

Experience

While childcare can be difficult, I think it is equally as rewarding and gratifying for the caretaker. Becoming an Au Pair will give me the opportunity to express and share my enthusiasm, as well as a chance to teach and care for your child, while also learning from the family in return. Although I do not have formal childcare experience, I have spent a fair amount of time looking after younger family members and neighbors’ children in my home city. I enjoy spending time with children because they can be very playful, witty, and especially full of surprises! I also have a deep love for animals, and would be very grateful to gain experience as a pet-sitter.
