Letter to the family

My name is Rita, and I am a student currently taking a gap year. I have a deep love for children and have spent a significant amount of time volunteering with them. Recently, I volunteered at an orphanage, and this past summer, I dedicated my time caring for children while their parents were at work. These experiences have shown me how rewarding it is to help shape the lives of children in need.

I would love to become an Au Pair because it aligns perfectly with my interests and my goal to participate in Erasmus programs. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, learn a new language, and grow personally and professionally. Additionally, I am a big animal lover and would be more than happy to help care for any pets you might have.

I believe I am a strong candidate for an Au Pair position because of my experience working with children and my responsible and caring nature. I am confident that I could create a warm and nurturing environment for your children.

Experience

While I have not formally worked as an Au Pair before, I have significant experience caring for children through my volunteer work and babysitting. I have volunteered at an orphanage, where I helped care for children of different ages, organising activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring their overall well-being. I was also able to care for and entertain children whose parents where working.

I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I am passionate about working with children and see this as a unique opportunity to combine that passion with my desire to experience a new culture. Living abroad would allow me to develop a deeper understanding of different ways of life, enhance my language skills, and grow as an individual. I am eager to learn from a new environment, and I believe that living with a host family as an Au Pair is the perfect way to do this.
