Letter to the family

Dear future host family,

My name is Beatriz Rafel Figueredo, I am 19 years old and I currently live in Puertito de Güímar, Tenerife. I am a caring, responsible person and I love children. Since I was little, I have always been surrounded by children, which has given me a lot of experience and allowed me to develop a great connection with them.

I decided to be an au pair in Spain because I believe that this experience will be very enriching for me and for you. I love taking care of children and I consider it not just a job, but an opportunity to contribute to their growth and happiness. Also, as I am a native Portuguese speaker and have basic knowledge of Spanish and English, I am excited to be able to help children learn about different cultures and languages in a natural and fun way.

I have had a lot of contact with children throughout my life, especially with my two little sisters, whom I helped to care for and entertain. I have also worked informally as a babysitter for two children for a few years: a 2-year-old baby and an 8-year-old girl. This experience has taught me to be patient, creative, and to take care of children of different ages. I really like playing, telling stories, creating educational activities, and of course, making sure the children are safe and happy.

I think you should choose me as an au pair because I am very dedicated and have a special bond with children. In addition, I am flexible, organized, and I love learning, which allows me to easily adapt to new routines and cultures. I am willing to collaborate not only in childcare, but also in some household tasks, always with a lot of energy and willingness.
