Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Cassidy , I am 19 years old and am currently attending a community college to get my medical laboratory technology certification. Growing up in the US i moved around a lot, I've experienced many different kinds of cultures and have no issues when it comes to adapting to them. I wanted to look into becoming an Au Pair because of my genuine interest in exploring new experiences while im still in my youth. I am able to quickly pick up basic terms and words of many languages. I am overly qualified for nannying positions as not only have I worked in a day care for over 2 years but have provided many different kinds of babysitting services to individual families. I have helped gotten children up and ready for school and helped younger kids learn how to read. I love making genuine connections with families and providing a fun learning opportunity for young children. I can promise you I will fully lean into the experience as a benefit for not only me personally but for your family.

Experience

Majority of my nannying experience are with younger children ages 1-5. I love to help younger children learn colors, shapes, and letters. I strongly believe children can be learned from as much as they can be taught. In becoming an Au Pair in a foreign country, I would expect that me and a child would be able to pick up eachother's language and dialect over time. Learning from experience in my opinion is the easiest way to not only learn but retain information. I would love to become an abroad Au Pair because it allows me to not only connect with people but encourages a self teaching environment.
